About Fitreck
I’m personally a gym freak, and I ran into a problem when I first started training. After the initial few weeks, I couldn’t stay organized and my progress began to slow down. I didn’t know if I was overtraining, undereating, or just being inconsistent.
The only real solution I found was to start tracking my workouts and my diet. Once I did that, everything changed. I stopped overtraining, started eating properly, and my progress picked up again.
Most apps that offer this kind of tracking are paid, so I asked myself: Why not build a free web app instead? That’s how Fitreck was created.
I personally use Fitreck for my own workouts
I’m a huge fan of custom workout splits, so I created several preloaded splits and made it easy to switch between them every month. This helped me a lot with consistency.
We also added streaks, because working out feels more like a game when you don’t want to break your streak — just like Snapchat streaks, but for the gym. On top of that, Fitreck gives you a simple and easy-to-understand summary of your day, including:
